Gibson Sessions, London

GIBSON SESSIONS!!

We've been away in London for a few days filming sessions for those who can't make it to us, and what better place to do this than Gibson HQ!! I promise you, this place is truly incredible. Just a room filled with immaculate guitars, that any day are to be shipped out to celebrity clients.

We were up at 7am and into the studio for 9, fairly quick to say I'm not at my best in the mornings - most of the time the boys have to drag me out of bed!.. After unloading a long wheel based van of  all it's contents, dragging it into a small passenger lift and up 6 flights of stairs, we were finally in and ready to roll!!

First in we had four beautiful ladies who go by the name of The Scarletz, with impeccable voices and flawless looks these girls are definitely one to watch out for. If you've recently been to an Olly Murs or Tinie Tempah tour show, then you'll probably recognise these lot! Check out there session below:

Next in we had Becky Hill from BBC's The Voice, again another mind blowing performance that sent shivers down all of our spines. There's something really special about this girl, not forgetting the fact she's absolutely crazy, in a good way of course.

Later we were joined by Tiffany Paige, Billie Tweddle & Mary Leay. Three incredibly talented performers who came to grace our sofa at Gibson HQ.

Check out Billie's session... (She's only 13?!)

After visiting a huge Irish pub in Leicester Square and a comedy evening in Soho (which resulted in Ben nearly getting hit by a falling light), we jumped onto six mattress' in the loft of a student house in Brixton. After rising early to get ready for our second day, we realised that sleeping underneath exposed insulation wasn't the best of ideas. Most of us couldn't breathe.

After a short tube ride and a full English, we were back behind the camera's. Youcef Preston, Lewis Fieldhouse and Lucy Kitt popped in to finish off a hugely successful trip to London and Gibson.

It was time to celebrate a successful few days in London, so we flew down to Troy Bar in Shoreditch for it's weekly open mic night, hosted by Basement Jaxx's 'Vula'. It was like no other open mic night I've ever been too, this was on a whole other level, every performance was absolutely outstanding, the room was just filled to the brim with a range of incredibly talented artist and musicians. Without a doubt it's a huge recommendation if you are around the Shoreditch area on a Tuesday evening, but I'd get down early because it soon fills up with an electric vibe.

'Till next time,

Joe
